there are lots of fashion brands out there that want to sell you something, so they say they are green and even sustainable. we won’t name names-do your research. but let’s face it you are buying another product from them, and another and another. what happens to all of those clothes?
when you donate to a charity if it isn’t sold it goes into the landfill or worse-it is burned or sent to a developing country that doesn’t need more of OUR garbage!
at shirt show nyc we help you reuse what you already have. when you send us your clothes we remake them into fun “new” pieces for your wardrobe.
AND
when you shop with us from our private collection you are buying pieces that have been remade from discarded fashion that we have turned into something useful and fun. when you are done with it send it back for another re-do-for-you or to be used in another shirt show nyc project.
every piece of clothing you send to us is kept in circulation-
either we send it back to you ready for it’s new life with you
OR
when you no longer want any of the pieces we have redone for you or that you have purchased from our collection please send them back to us and we will make sure they remain useful and out of the landfill.
